Burgundy Estate adjoins the historic De Grendel farm. In fact, the estate originally formed part of the farmlands where Sir David Graaff grazed herds of Friesland cattle and trained his beloved Arabian thoroughbreds!

The addition of Oasis Life at Burgundy Estate makes this suburb both a multi-generational and mixed-use one. Growing Team and Culinary Expertise

We now have well over 150 residents living at Oasis Life, and with the increased population, we are extending our hospitality team. We’re excited to announce the appointment of Michele Beirowski as Head Chef. Michele’s previous work experience includes time at Ruebens Restaurant in Franschhoek, Clos Malverne Wine Farm in Stellenbosch, and most recently as the Head Chef at Oasis Life Clara Anna Fontein for the past three years. Michele has over thirteen years of culinary experience, and we look forward to her sharing her expertise and knowledge with the team.

Evolving Lifestyle Offerings

“As the estate grows, so do our various lifestyle offerings,” says Miguel Rodrigues, Director at Rabie, of Oasis Life Burgundy Estate. “We built the clubhouse in our first phase, and as we added more houses and cottages, we included an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, bowling green, and a 24/7 laundry service. As we progressed, we were able to customize our offerings in an agile response to market feedback,” says Rodrigues.

Connectivity and Resident Communication

All homes will be installed with fiber optic cabling for high-speed internet and DStv connectivity, and the common areas will offer WiFi, enabling residents to connect online from laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
