A Ripple Spring 2023 article
[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]As Spring greets us in the Western Cape, we start enjoying warmer weather, longer daylight hours, vibrant colours and a greater sense of community as our residents leave the refuge of their homes to once again explore the outdoors.
I am often asked what I feel is the greatest benefit of living in one of our estates and my response is easy. “Aside from our villages being designed and built around our 4 pillars, our communities offer a sense of belonging, which is integral in fostering social connections amongst our residents”.
It is this sense of belonging that encourages our residents to participate in the various weekly activities and to proactively engage with resident committees and management alike. Seeing our residents connect with one another at this level, in the environment that we have created tells me we are on the right trajectory.
Our primary goal is to provide safe, comfortable, and enriching environments for all our residents. As we move forward, I encourage you to share your thoughts, ideas, and aspirations with us. Your feedback shapes our communities, and we are committed to evolving in ways that continue to resonate with your desires and needs.
To update you on our developments, Clara Anna Fontein in Durbanville has now reached the end of its development phase and the clubhouse is now undergoing a soft refurbishment. Burgundy Estate is launching phase 4 of its development which includes various clubhouse upgrades. Constantia has set the new benchmark in retirement sales, having sold 75% off plan, whilst later this year we plan to launch our Century City offering located in Ratanga Park. The park is situated on the banks of the Century City canals with a large restored water body, enjoying views of Table Mountain.
The area directly adjacent to the park, boasts several restaurants and coffee shops. This new vibrant urban park forms part of the network of interconnected smart green open spaces in the well-maintained Century City precinct. Lastly, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for
choosing our community as your home. It is an honour to have you as part of our vibrant and close-knit community. Your presence and active participation have contributed immensely to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that defines our retirement estates.
Until next time,
Glynn
