Does Oasis Life have frail care facilities?
Oasis Life estates do not have frail care facilities, but all Oasis Life residents will receive preference when applying at the Oasis Care Centre in Century City.
Despite popular belief, the occupancy rate of frail care facilities is, on average, not as high as it is perceived to be. Using the Oasis Care Centre in Century City as a model, we have seen that the trend of the increase in home-based care rather than electing for a full-time residency in a frail care or assisted living facility. More and more people want to remain in their own homes where all they feel comfortable.

Does Oasis Life have primary healthcare facilities?
Yes, we will have a primary healthcare suite in our lifestyle centres where residents can refer their everyday health concerns. There will be a nurse on duty during office hours who can assist with the taking of blood pressure etc, and who will be able to assist with a referral to your doctor. We will also have a nurse on call 24/7 for emergencies.
What do I do in a medical emergency when I am at home?
All Oasis Life homes will be fitted with panic buttons, which will call through to a 24-hour medical emergency call centre. Residents can also elect to have wearables, such as a bracelet, which is equipped with a panic button. This will enable you to alert someone wherever you are – whether it be in the shower or the kitchen – that you are in need of assistance.
Each Oasis Life estate will have slightly different emergency response arrangements, as to make use of the closest and most efficient emergency medical service provider.
