Hailing from the beautiful Garden Route in the Western Cape, Neil started his working career at Pezula Resort and Hotel, after which he moved to Cape Town’s One & Only hotel.  He spent five years at the Cape Town Convention Centre, whereafter he joined the Century City Conference Centre – first as Banqueting Manager for a year and a half and then the Operations Manager for three years.

He is very passionate about sport, whether its cheering the Stormers to victory or trying to improve on his golf handicap. He is also an aspirational Masterchef with a keen ambition for perfecting his cooking skills.

“I am looking forward to the next direction in my career, which is the management of Oasis Life Clara Anna Fontein. I value the importance of building relationships and I look forward to becoming acquainted with each resident. It’s vital that while we create a safe harbour for our residents, we also ensure that everything we do is executed with the utmost care, empathy and kindness. Neil will be managing, inter alia, the beautiful Clubhouse when it opens at the end of the year. A major melting pot of the Clubhouse will be the restaurant, where residents can enjoy delicious meals, have coffee dates, and end the day with a cheese platter to share on the patio.
